"Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit" (John 16:16).
Ordained Ministers holding current credentials with the Evangelical Ministerial Association are authorized to perform the ordinances, ceremonies, and ecclesiastical functions of the church. This includes the performing of wedding ceremonies in the state where the minister's permanent residence is held.
Licensed Ministers holding current credentials with the Evangelical MinisterialAssociationare likewise authorized to perform the ordinances, ceremonies, and ecclesiastical functions of the church,except the performing of wedding ceremonies.
III . CERTIFICATION
Certified Ministers holding current credentials with the Evangelical Ministerial Association do not perform the ecclesiastical functions of the church. The performing of weddings are not permissable. Certified ministers normally need to have the correct credentials and certification in order to visit the prisons, hospitals, and other institutions.
The Evangelical Ministerial Associationtm Credentials Committee is authorized to issue ordination certificates, license certificates, and certification certificates, plus the accompanying annual association card, to all the appropriately qualified and approved candidates.
"And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ" (Ephesians 4:11-13).
